Sub stations transfers power to our homes. It is basically the Achilles Heel of the power grid. What they do is convert power to a safe level that can be distributed to our homes. Our High Voltage Carriers make up about 3% of the power grid, but they end up transferring 60-70 % of the power grid.
Most of the Sub Stations and High Voltage Carriers were made in China. This would enable them to have a back door access to our power grid. In May 2020 President Trump banned acquisition and importation of Sub Power Station from ANY former Adversary. The Department of Energy intercepted a 500ton multi million dollar Sub Station heading to TX. As of today we do Not know what was found. We do know that there are many other stations all over the continental US.
If one of these Sub Stations were to fail, ex. New York, would loose approximately 10% of its power grid. In Los Vegas you would see 18-20% loss of their power grid. In 2020, TX. lost 40% of its power grid due to a snow and ice storm. That resulted in over 100 deaths. Part of Americas power problems is that our power grid is failing due to State and Federal Government budget cuts. Not to mention the larger draw today due to Technology.
Russia has invaded Ukraine, and is using EMP like weapons to disable their defenses. China has vowed to invade Taiwan. Neither Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping respect or fear President Biden. In October 2021 President Biden called these two “My good friends” Now the US has 10k troops in the Ukraine. This is the last thing we need. China is the sleeping dragon, and has vowed to rule the world by the 100 yr anniversary of Mao Zedong Communist Uprising. While Russia has its eyes on revitalizing the USSR.
